Our Story
In 2024 the Wilmington City Council (WCC) and Clinton County Port Authority (CCPA) submitted a response to a RFP for data centers in Ohio. The project was hidden from the public for ~ 18 months, giving no opportunities for community input or feedback. The project was exposed to the public in an article in the Wilmington New Journal in December, 2025. This group has been formed to represent the public being affected by the proposed Amazon Web Service (AWS) data center and other industrial developments.
To protect Clinton County residents, environment, and property from undue harm caused by poorly conceptualized data center proposals and other industrial developments.
